Socialisation and Basic Obedience Course
Six-week socialisation and basic training courses are run on Fridays, either in
the mornings at 9.30am or in the evenings at 6pm. Each class lasts for one hour.
A maximum of six puppies are enrolled onto each course, which allows plenty of opportunity
for individual attention from the trainer, whilst being a sufficient number for
supervised and well managed socialisation.
This course is suitable for puppies up to the age of 18 weeks old at the start of
the course. Puppies must have had all their vaccinations before being allowed to
come to class.
The course includes teaching the puppies basic obedience such as sit, down, stand,
stay, to come when called and how to walk nicely on the lead.
Off lead play and training is also undertaken, giving the puppies the crucially
important chance to socialise and play with other dogs, while teaching them to still
pay attention to their owners and comply with their requests.
You are welcome to come along and watch a class without your dog before booking
your place. However please contact me to arrange this, to ensure I know who is coming
and that there is actually a class running on the day of your visit.
The cost of this course is £80, which includes a free puppy starter pack and the
Association of Pet Dog Trainers Good Companion Puppy Assessment and Award.
Courses must be booked and paid for in advance. Please check availability and book
a place using the
How To Book? page.
