Getting a new dog?

Getting a new puppy, older dog or rescue dog can be very special.

However, if this is your first dog or you have had dogs before and had a few problems with them and are not sure where you went wrong, it can be invaluable to get professional help and advice.

A dog can be your best friend and companion and with the right training from the start can be a wonderful member of the family who you can take anywhere with you.

I offer visits for owners who are thinking of getting or have recently acquired a new puppy, older dog or rescue dog. The visit includes offering advice on:

• Settling your new puppy or dog in
• Introducing new puppies/dogs to children and existing pets
• How to get it right from the beginning, preventing problems from occurring
• Housetraining
• The hugely important socialisation training for puppies and older dogs
• Basic training and good manners
